The project
The Chef's Table project is a collaboration between me and a Chef, whose aim is to re-invente dishes from my cookbooks Sephardi:Cooking the History, and Matzah and Flour. Our collaboration aims to bring theory and History of the Sephardic Jews to the table of reknown restaurants. It is usually combined with a lecture I deliver on the culinary heritage of the Jews of Spain and the diaspora.

Chef Michael Solomonov has been the first in this collaboration with Zahav restaurant, when we did the event at Morcilla restaurant in Pittsburgh in March 2023.
Table Magazine dedicated a entire article whith photos and recipes about this event.
